FISHIN' FRENZY

FISHIN' FRENZY is one of those games I opened expecting five minutes and closed forty minutes later. You cast, wait for the line to twitch, then react. It sounds simple, and it is, but the timing window is tight enough that landing a big catch actually feels earned. The whole thing runs one-handed, which is exactly what you want when you're standing on a tram.

Controls are a single tap to cast and a hold-and-release to reel. What surprised me was how much the game layers on top of that without breaking the calm. Different spots hide different fish, weather shifts what's biting, and there's a gentle sense of progress as you unlock new stretches of water. No frantic notifications, no timers nagging you to come back.

I liked how relaxed it stays even when you fail a catch. The tone never punishes you, and the sound design of a reel spinning is oddly satisfying. If you want something to unwind with rather than sweat over, this fits neatly into a coffee break.
